Private Lessons

We offer private lessons to our students. Under most circumstances only two people, the student and the instructor are in the training vehicle at one time. A maximum of five people may be in the vehicle at one time. A maximum of 3 extra passengers may be riding along with the student and instructor due to scheduling issues or for training purposes. On your road test with ICBC, there may be more than one examiner in the car and 3 Sisters Driving School does not have control in this case.

Vehicle Rental Road Test (2 hrs) $250 + GST $262.50

Driving Lessons include the use of the school vehicle, instruction and all costs associated with the driving lesson. The driving school car is a 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer equipped with dual brake controls. This vehicle is easy to drive, has a high clearance, good visibility and simple controls that transfer well to other vehicles. Students with a Class 7L and Class 7N drivers’ license must use the school vehicle for the lessons. Students with a Class 5 drivers’ license may use their own vehicle once the instructor has completed an evaluation of the students’ driving skills.

We offer our school vehicle to be rented for road tests in Fernie or Sparwood to students enrolled in a multi-lesson package and depending on availability

Lesson prices and packages stated above and on the website may change pricing, packages or offers at any time and at driving schools own discretion.

Lesson Time Schedule

Lessons are 1.5 hours with at least 60% of the time actively driving on the roads. Some time is spent parked at the side of the road when verbal
explanations are provided to the student. Lessons are usually scheduled a week apart to allow time to practice. We recommend at least 1 hour
of practice between each lesson.

Lesson Meeting Place

Lesson pick-ups and drop-offs are usually from home or another pre-arranged meeting place. Please allow your instructor a grace period of 15 minutes to arrive at the meeting place. All efforts will be made to inform the student of a late arrival. Your time will either be added on at the end of the current lesson or added to the next lesson if student’s time does not permit a time extension.

Late Cancellation Policy

Scheduled lessons may be changed or cancelled by notifying 3 Sisters Driving School via text or email at least 24 hours in advance. Latecancelation is considered a no show, and no refund will be granted. If a student cancels late, or is unable to attend, or does not show up for ascheduled lesson no refund will be granted. We will never charge for lessons cancelled or rescheduled in a timely manner.

Withdrawals and refunds

We do not offer refunds for lessons already completed. If you wish to discontinue training, a refund will be provided for unused lessons as per the Lesson Package Fee Schedule. A refund to your credit card will be processed and may take up to two (2) weeks. Please send in writing a request for refund to info@3sistersdrivingschool.com.
